London Design Weeks time consisted of 100 designer shows and 200 items, presenting ladies and men’s wear selections for spring summer 2012. Manchester based Irishman John Costelloe began the grand fashion of production with his voluminous, baby doll dresses and popped jackets in A-line silhouettes. Filled with neutral colors and dazzled with better coral and green shades in luxurious, textured materials, the selection was like a frolicsome chic.
Caroline Charles’ selection was like an Ode to French Rivieria, with chiffon dress in classic navy with dropped middle. Her monochrome eveningwear, meanwhile, shines with jewelry and sequins for pure style.
Other well-known names on the line-up included Dame Vivienne Westwood, Julien Macdonald and Issa, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favored designers, Mulberry, Nicole Farhi and Matthew Williamson.
